Another answer to what it's all about is sailing. The feeling when the wind fill up the sails and the ocean is right before you, "drink up me hearties yo ho". To become one whith the ship and power of nature. To stand there all naked before your creator. Shouting out to the wind and hear it shout back as the wind wips the reef into pieces.
When I was a kid I sailed Laser, one of the most funny dinghy you can sail. It's quick and you have to learn fast or it pulls you down under.
This is the boat I sail at the moment. It's a Linjett 35. She's a real beauty. Smooth and balanced like the best of whiskeys.

The summers I spend at Blidö where the boat is station. It's in the middle archipelago of Stockholm and I've been there since I was a child.
